A national treasure in our eyes, Gerald plays his 300 year old viola da gamba and more ancient instruments along with his band, blending contemporary techniques with traditional and middle-eastern styles.

Performing on original 17th- and 18th-century violas da gamba, Trimble creates a new style which spans a musical continuum of centuries and melds contemporary techniques with arcane, alchemical traditions in sound — connecting cultures through the ages as he travels.
